Renata Earnings per Share Rockets to Second Place at DSE
According to the Monthly Review (December 2005) of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), Renata Limited had the second highest earnings per share among all publicly listed companies based on 2004 earnings. It is noteworthy that Renata previously ranked 6th on the same indicator. The list of companies with the highest earnings per share is shown below:

In terms of overall returns to shareholders, Renata outperformed the DSE by a considerable margin. Renata shareholders earned a return (excluding cash dividend) of 12.5%, whereas the Index DGEN fell by 9.03%.
