Goldshield
Group PLC (www.goldshieldplc.com) and Renata
Limited signed a Confidentiality Agreement on October 5, 2004. This
UK based company which is quoted on the London Stock Exchange has an
extensive marketing and distribution network throughout Europe, USA,
and many countries in the world. Under this Agreement, Goldshield
shall share with Renata technical, regulatory, and commercial data
related to certain products that it markets in various parts of the
world.
Provided that Renata can develop world-class manufacturing
facilities and products, this alliance with Goldshield could prove
to be instrumental in accessing European pharmaceutical markets in
the future.
Notwithstanding the importance of this Agreement, Renata
shareholders should take note that accessing European markets
involves lengthy and arduous procedures. There are several hurdles
to cross, and this Agreement is but a mere step in that difficult
journey.
